Every Echo device contains special technology that turns ordinary water into hydrogen-rich water.
At its heart is the Echo hydrogen generator. It uses two platinum-coated titanium plates with a thin proton exchange membrane (PEM) between them. These laboratory-grade materials were chosen for their durability, purity and safety.
The proton exchange membrane was first developed for NASA and is now used in hydrogen cars, among other things. It allows pure hydrogen to dissolve in the water while oxygen is released into the air.
The carefully designed plates spread the electric current evenly, without excessive heating or damage. As a result, the generator produces hydrogen faster and more efficiently.
The Echo bottle has been laboratory-tested and certified by H2 Analytics (report H2AR-250116-1 of 16 January 2025). Tested by gas chromatography on distilled water, the bottle produced 6.07 mg/l of dissolved hydrogen after a 10-minute cycle and up to 8.25 mg/l after 20 minutes.
The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has recognised hydrogen gas as generally recognised as safe (GRAS). The ECHO bottle holds a valid H2 Analytics certification in line with IHSA and US EPA standards (registration number: 24-0701-1-PB).
