Oil pressed from black cumin seeds contains a large amount of unsaturated fatty acids, including approx. 56% linoleic acid and approx. 24% oleic acid. It also contains a good dose of sterols – over 600 mg per 100 g of oil – as well as vitamins B1 and B2 and minerals: salts of calcium, manganese, potassium, iron, selenium and zinc.

Black seed oil is especially often chosen by parents of young children. The thymoquinone in black seed helps reduce the release of histamine, which is responsible for allergic reactions. Thymoquinone also stimulates the immune system.

It is best to start with small amounts of black seed oil and increase them gradually (because of its distinctive taste). You can mix it with other oils and add it to salads and cold dishes.

The oil is suitable for young children.

After pressing, it stays fresh and fit for consumption for:

• 4 months at room temperature, from the date of pressing.

Keeping the oil in the fridge significantly extends its shelf life. At the same time, the oil's other biochemical qualities keep their health-promoting properties when the product is stored at a lower temperature.
